Ejections: CB Bucknor (2, 3)

HP Umpire CB Bucknor ejected Tigers pitcher Jeremy Bonderman and Tigers catcher Gerald Laird for arguing balls and strikes to end the top of the 5th inning of the Mariners-Tigers game. With two out and none on, Mariners shortstop Josh Wilson hit a 0-2 changeup from Bonderman to Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge, who threw to Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera for the third out of the inning. Replays indicate all pitches called during the final at bat of the top of the 5th inning were ruled correctly, the call was correct. The call is incorrect under Rule 6.e.iv.* This ejection is Eligible for a Balls/Strikes Exemption under Rule 6.e.iv. At the time of the ejections, the Mariners were leading, 7-1. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 8-1.

These are CB Bucknor (54)'s second and third ejections of 2010.
CB Bucknor now has 0 points in the Umpire Ejection Fantasy League (4 Previous + 2 MLB + -4 Incorrect call + 2 MLB + -4 Incorrect Call = 0).
CB Bucknor is owned as a Secondary Umpire by jeruhme, who is now in 13th place in the UEFL with -5 points.
*Quality of Correctness was challenged and affirmed ("Correct" ==> "Incorrect").

These are the 92nd and 93rd ejections of 2010.
These are the 39th and 40th player ejections of 2010.
Prior to his ejection, Gerald Laird was 0-2 in the contest.
